Roll-InBuddy XL
Roll-InBuddy XL is designed for mobility-impaired individuals requiring a larger seat.
With all the features and benefits of the Roll-InBuddy, the XL model offers comfort and support for users up to 200kg in weight and a seat that’s 560mm wide. The SB6c-22 is designed for function and safety within roll-in showers and wet rooms. A carer can support entry and use of the shower safely thanks to the strong, waterproof aluminum frame (covered by a lifetime warranty).
Roll-InBuddy XL also doubles as a fully-featured toilet chair. With a maximum toilet clearance of 480mm, the chair will fit over most standard home toilets. For users needing support outside the bathroom, Roll-InBuddy XL comes with a complete commode system.
With additional support from the foot and armrests, Roll-InBuddy XL is an excellent choice for larger individuals.
Roll-InBuddy XXL
Roll-InBuddy XXL provides all the great features of Roll-InBuddy XL, with extra width and maximum weight capacity.
Roll-InBuddy XXL has been developed for individuals with standard roll-in showers and attendant home care. Designed to safely cater for weights up to 200kg and a seat width of 660mm, the XXL model is a scaled-up version of the excellent Roll-InBuddy range.
Users will enjoy the comfort of the padded seat cushion and fold-back armrests, while carers will benefit from the strong aluminum frame and locking caster wheels enabling ease of movement. Roll-InBuddy XXL is also an effective toilet chair and is fully equipped to use as a commode.
Showering
- The carer prepares the user for showering and locks the Roll-InBuddy's wheels down.
- Fold-away arms allow hassle-free transfer onto the chair.
- Once seated, the footrest can be adjusted for comfort.
- For extra support, lap and chest safety belts should be worn at all times.
- Simply take off the brake and transfer the user into the shower.
- Lock the caster wheels back into place – RollIn-Buddy will stay fixed to the shower floor if required.
- Once the shower is complete, simply unlock the wheels and bring the user out.
Toileting
- Seat clears most toilets with its height adjustment.
- Arms flip back to allow side transfers if required.
- Locking caster wheels fix SB6c over the toilet providing stable support.
- SB6c’s frame and seat are non-corrosive and easy to clean.
- If the user needs nighttime assistance, the SB6c comes with an included commode system.
