A modular diagnostic system offering optional modules which can measure blood pressure (NIBP), and temperature, and with a centralized electricity power supply it can support up to 5 instrument handles with a choice of heads; ophthalmoscope, otoscope, dermatoscopy, retinoscope, tongue blade holder or nasal speculum.
Diagnostic station with flexible, modular design
The flexible, modular design is available as a mobile base, wall design or rail design, offering many configurations to suit the needs of hospitals, medical practices, and clinics.
Ri-former diagnostic station provides the healthcare professional (HCP) with the ability to assess their patient’s eyes, ears, nose, tongue, and skin making it suitable for use across ENT and Dermatology.
Design options
Ri-former is available in the following design options:
- Rail design is designed to attach to a rail, either horizontally or vertically. It comes with 2 handles and ri-spec ear specula dispenser.
- Mobile base is made of fiberglass and a chrome plated pole, which is height adjustable (105 – 130 cm / 41.3 – 51.2 in), and is easy to move due to low friction, anti-static, lockable castors. Diameter (54 cm / 21.3 in). It comes with 2 handles and ri-spec ear specula dispenser.
- Wall design is designed to be attached to the wall. It comes with a choice of 1 or 2 handles and includes a wall mounting plate, plugs, and screws.
Optional thermometry modules:
- RPT-100 (Filac 3000) predictive probe thermometer.
- ri-thermo N infrared tympanic thermometer.
Optional blood pressure modules:
- Big Ben aneroid sphygmomanometer (sphyg).
- ri-medic automated and manual clinical-grade blood pressure monitor.
Diagnostic handles
The centralized power supply supports up to 3 diagnostic handles which are ergonomically designed with rhetoric that provide continuously adjustable brightness as well as manual switching on and off.
The diagnostic handles are available with a choice of Riester ri-scope L and EliteVue instrument heads with a choice of LED or Xenon bulbs:

Accessories
Ri-spec integrated ear specula dispenser for the otoscope and nasal specula has 5 tubes for 5 different sizes of specula, dispenses new specula for each examination, and is easy to re-fill and disinfect.
