Description
Pathologists use the Mi5 microscope with a 2.5x objective for broad scanning of cytology slides. The 2.5x objective has a very wide field of view, wider than the field of light created by a standard ABBE condenser. The Flip out condenser allows the pathologist to flip the upper lens out of the way to spread the field of light so that the view under the 2.5x objective is fully illuminated from side to side.
