Description
Indications: to cover and/or fill partial-to-full thickness wound with light-to-moderate drainage.
Contraindications: Third-degree burns and patients with a known sensitivity to honey.
Change Frequency: Change frequency will depend on the condition of the patient as well as the level of wound exudate. Reapply when the dressing has reached its absorbent capacity or as directed by a wound care professional.
Recommended Secondary Dressings: Cover the non-bordered Hydrogel. Dressing with an appropriate secondary dressing such as transparent film, roll gauze, or stretch net (Adhesive Border needs no secondary dressing).
