The Hausmann Industries Convertible Staircase is a heavy-duty training device designed for the patient's needs during physical therapy and rehabilitation exercises. Because of its straight line or 90-degree corner configuration, the Convertible Staircase is an optimal choice to accommodate the needs of the facility.
Compact & Durable. With its compact form factor, the Convertible Staircase takes up less space and can fit in facilities or offices with a ceiling height of 8 ft (ADA Compliant) or 9 ft (Non-ADA Compliant). The stairs are constructed with a natural oak laminate and have "anti-slip" safety treads on all steps and platforms. Its included handrails and uprights are made with satin-finished premium hardwood that will be shipped ready to assemble (R.T.A.).
Comfortable & Secure. Constructed with a weight capacity of 350 lbs., the Convertible Staircase features BriteStep which has a Bright Yellow, Hi-Visibility, and Hi-Impact 3mm edging for optimum security and durability. Its ergonomic handrails are designed for an easy and comfortable gripping experience for the patient and, if the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Compliant is chosen, includes a 12" A.D.A. overhang.
