.Whatman Polycap TC capsule filters contain a hydrophilic, high-flow rate polyethersulfone (PES) membrane for a wide range of aqueous filtration techniques in life science and pharmaceutical applications.
Low protein-binding and biosafe
PES membranes are inherently hydrophilic with low extractable and high flow rates. They are biosafe and remove fine particles, bacteria, and fungi. Low protein binding minimizes non-specific protein binding and enables filtration applications such as cleaning/rinsing pharmaceutical solutions and viral suspensions, sterilizing tissue culture media, and general filtration.
Whatman Polycap TC PES capsule filters feature dual-layer polyethersulfone (PES) membranes and provides efficient filtration for aqueous solutions. They are encapsulated in a thermally fused polypropylene housing to eliminate surfactants and mold-releasing agents that could affect the analysis.
