Using the Cervical Traction System with Neck Roll, under the direction of a health care professional, provides the head and neck with therapeutic traction to help reduce pressure on the cervical spine. Cervical Neck Traction is an ideal physical therapy to help relieve chronic neck pain and discomfort.
The head harness gently cradles the head and secures it in proper position for cervical traction. Easily adjust fit with hook and loop closures.
The precision cut 3.75 inch diameter positioning cervical roll provides gentle rotational traction to the neck, placing it in a proper position to help reestablish a diminished cervical curve. The roll also allows the shoulders to drop, stretching the chest and neck muscles. Opening the chest in this manner promotes breathing and facilitates relaxation.
The vinyl weight bag is adjustable; simply add or remove water to desired level as indicated on the water chamber (up to 5 pounds of mass). The weight of the water bag gently applies rotational traction to the head and neck, helping to stretch the spinal vertebrae and surrounding muscles, helping to relieve pressure and pain. Rotating the head to the posterior creates space between the vertebrae to relieve compression and allow muscles to relax.
