The Beckman Coulter CellaVision DC-1 Digital Morphology Analyzer is a high-quality system for digital imaging of peripheral blood films. The CellaVision DC-1 Analyzer establishes a standardized testing process that enables small labs to perform blood differentials with consistent accuracy and reliability.

It completely modernizes and replaces microscopy by quickly and efficiently performing cell classification and identification. When a slide is loaded into the analyzer, the monolayer is identified, individual cells are located and high-quality digital images are captured. The Analyzer uses state-of-the art image analysis technology to deliver a pre-classification of WBCs and a pre-characterization of RBC morphology. WBCs are pre-classified into twelve cell types and RBCs are characterized based on six morphological characteristics. The pre-classified and pre-characterized cells are presented to the specialist for review and verification. Structured interfaces, smart functionalities and embedded tools help speed up the review process while promoting accuracy and consistency.
Great Features: The DC-1 comes with a bunch of user-friendly and process-optimizing features that facilitate quality assessment and analysis of the blood samples. The analyzer takes in a single slide at a time and is capable of processing up to 10 slides in an hour. The results and images can be reviewed remotely through a database and network connection. The system has a local storage of 20GB, that can store images of up to 1500 slides. Ethernet, LAN and printer support is present on the machine.
