Description
Systems use low-temperature hydrogen peroxide gas plasma to sterilize a range of medical devices. Sterilant comes pre-packaged in sealed Sterrad System Cassettes, which contain precisely measured quantities of hydrogen peroxide solution, making gas plasma sterilization both convenient and effective. Once inserted into the sterilizer, cassettes are automatically processed and discarded into the cassette disposal drawer. This minimises handling of the sterilant and allows for touch-free cassette disposal, ensuring the safety for the operator.
Sterrad System Cassettes are uniquely bar-coded and can be transported via ground or air shipment. A chemical indicator on the packaging allows for easy identification of leakages, ensuring that transport of the sterilant is as safe as possible.
