The 3M Prevena Plus Duo Incision Management System with 3M Prevena Peel and Place Dressing is a disposable negative pressure therapy system – an easy-to-use therapy unit & two integrated dressings. The 3M Prevena Plus Duo Incision Management System Kit is designed for use on two linear incisions up to 20 cm in length – two incisions one solution.
The 3M Prevena Therapy System incorporates all of the functional elements of negative pressure therapy necessary for the management of a variety of closed surgical incisions. Our portfolio of portable and flexible dressings and therapy units provide combined benefits of ease of use and flexibility to manage and protect surgical incisions following primary closure.
The 3M Prevena Therapy System helps to hold incision edges together, reduces edema, removing fluids & infectious material into a replaceable canister. It acts as a barrier to external contamination and delivers continuous negative pressure at -125mmHg for up to 7 days to the incision site.
3M Prevena 125 and 3M Prevena Plus 125 Therapy Units manage the environment of closed surgical incisions and remove fluid away from the surgical incision via the application of 125 mmHg continuous negative pressure.
More than 70+ published clinical studies in a variety of surgical incisions and patient populations have demonstrated that the 3M Prevena Incision Management System is associated with positive clinical outcomes compared to standard postoperative dressings.

- The 3M Prevena Plus 125 Therapy Unit is a disposable, single-patient-use device with a rechargeable battery (Weight 0.64 lbs/0.29 Kg; Dimensions 16.3 x 8.9 x 5.5 cm).
- Replaceable 150 mL canister (single-use, sterile, disposable).
- Visual/audible alerts for patient safety.
- Two 3M Prevena Dressing (polyurethane foam) channels negative pressure to the incision area and includes a skin interface layer that actively wicks fluid away from the incision.
- The 3M Prevena Dressing skin interface layer contains 0.019% ionic silver, which reduces bacterial colonization in the fabric.
- The patient can shower with dressing in place.
