The implementation of a tunable technology makes Cardiology IV series a highly efficient tool designed to withstand intensive use and assist practitioners working in highly demanding clinical settings. This unique 3M technology allows for the assessment of different frequency sounds by simply applying lighter or firmer pressure, not having to turn over and reposition the chest piece. In addition, the dual-lumen tubing design improves sound patency, eliminating the rubbing noise common for traditional double tubes. Such advancements allow spending less time adjusting the unit and focusing on the patient to identify, listen to, and study heart, lung, and other body sounds for physical assessment, patient monitoring, and diagnosis.

Cardiology IV Stethoscope is assembled with a double-sided chestpiece featuring a tunable one-piece diaphragm on each side. A one-piece design promotes use convenience being truly easy to attach and clean due to the smooth surface. The adult side measures an optimal 1.7” in diameter. The Pediatric side measures 1.3” and converts to an open bell with the help of a non-chill rim promoting patient comfort. New-generation materials used on Stethoscope tubing provide non-stainable, skin oils and alcohol-resistant performance that results in longer life of the unit.

The ergonomic construction of an anatomically designed headset gives you the most optimal sound transmission and fits strategically and comfortably around your neck. In addition, the headset tension can be adjusted to a specific head size by simply squeezing together or pulling apart the ear tubes. The Stethoscope is manned with a variety of soft-sealing ear tips that are highly flexible to comfortably fit any individual ear and feature a snap-tight design for enhanced safety.
