Description
The 3pp Step Down Splint provides an easy, effective way to restore combined distal (DIP) and proximal interphalangeal joint (PIP) flexion following injury or surgery. A static progressive stretch can be easily applied to tolerance by the user for optimal compliance and results.
Three sizes allow the Step Down splint to fit most fingers without adjustment. The easy-to-apply splint includes an adjustable strap used to gradually pull the DIP and PIP joints into flexion. Once maximum flexion has been achieved, using the 3pp Final Flexion Wrap is recommended to gain the final degrees of flexion.

- The Step Down splint makes it easy for the wearer to slowly regain DIP and PIP flexion to relieve extensor tendon restriction.
- The adjustable Step-Down splint allows the application of a static progressive stretch to restore near-end range flexion.
- The case-hardened steel wire frame is hinged and will bend or break from tension.
- Pads are included to distribute corrective force on the DIP and PIP.
- Combine with a 3pp Final Flexion Wrap to restore final degrees of flexion.
